How can fine chemical equipment improve energy efficiency?

The production process of fine chemical industry is complex and energy intensive. 1、 For core reaction equipment, such as reaction vessels, efficient insulation layer design can be adopted, using new insulation materials such as aluminum silicate fiber and polyurethane to reduce heat loss of the vessel body, maintain a more stable reaction temperature, and reduce the consumption of heating or cooling media. In terms of heat exchange equipment, high-efficiency heat exchange devices such as spiral plate heat exchangers and plate heat exchangers are promoted to replace traditional shell and tube heat exchangers. These devices improve the heat transfer coefficient by 30% -50% by optimizing the flow channel structure (such as spiral flow channels and corrugated plates), and significantly reduce energy consumption under the same heat transfer load. In addition, the mixing system is modified by using a variable frequency motor combined with efficient mixing blades (such as turbine and anchor), dynamically adjusting the mixing rate according to the reaction stage, avoiding ineffective energy consumption, and reducing mixing energy consumption by 20% -30%.


2、 By utilizing an automated control system, real-time monitoring and regulation of equipment operating parameters can be achieved. For example, in the operation of a distillation tower, the reflux ratio, bottom temperature, and top pressure are controlled by a PLC system to avoid steam waste caused by excessive reflux; During the operation of the reaction kettle, the flow rate of heating or cooling medium is automatically adjusted according to the exothermic/endothermic characteristics of the material reaction to maintain the optimal reaction temperature and reduce energy redundancy consumption. At the same time, promote the economic operation mode of equipment, avoid equipment idling or low load operation, optimize production plans to achieve full load and continuous production of equipment, and improve the product output rate per unit of energy consumption.


3、 In fine chemical production, a large number of equipment (such as reaction vessels, distillation towers, condensers) generate high-temperature waste heat, which can be recovered through waste heat boilers, waste heat exchangers, and other equipment to generate steam, preheat raw materials, or heat circulating water, replacing some fossil energy consumption. For example, using the waste heat of high-temperature materials discharged from the reaction kettle to preheat the feed can reduce the energy consumption of the heating furnace by 15% -20%; Utilize the waste heat from the condenser at the top of the distillation tower for heating in the factory area, reducing winter heating energy consumption. In addition, promoting the coordinated utilization of energy between different devices, forming an energy cycle network, and improving energy utilization efficiency.
