Drum flaking is a cooling crystallization process. Molten material in the pan contacts the cooled drum, forming a film on the drum surface. Heat exchange between the film and the drum wall cools and crystallizes the film, which is then scraped off by a scraper to form flake products.
Drum drying is a continuous operation equipment. It heats and dries liquid or strip materials attached to the outer wall of the rotating drum through heat conduction.
