Drum flaking is a cooling crystallization process. Molten material in the pancontacts the cooled drum, forming a film on the drum surface. Heat exchange betweenthe film and the drum wall cools and crystallizes the film, which is then scraped off by ascraper to form flake products.
Drum drying is a continuous operation equipment. It heats and dries liquid orstrip materials attached to the outer wall of the rotating drum through heat conduction.
